Voter Registration Drives & Outreach

Virginia Voter Registration Drives

Individuals or organizations requesting 25 or more Voter Registration Applications from the Virginia Department of Elections (ELECT) or a local voter registration office must register and complete a certified voter registration drive training. Certification expires each year on June 30 and can be renewed by completing training annually.

Voter Registration Drive Training Options

• Virginia's Department of Elections offers a self-paced, Voter Registration Drive Online Course that is available at any time!
• Live, virtual instructor-led training workshops conducted by Virginia's Department of Elections.
• Our office typically holds voter registration drive training in July. If you and/or your organization is interested in participating in a training please email voters@arlingtonva.us.
